Talkback: Rescue babies from ‘bad’ parents, says Barnardo’s head

  • i get the part about things being too far gone for some families and that some children would be better taken into a better family.

the solution lies in children being taught real life things in school (that way they dont just grow up believeing that its ok to do some of the -not ok- things that they may be experiencing at home. that have gone on for centuries) take away history...which is of no real life use (unless you wanna become a historian) and science (as everything is already done for us in that kind of stuff) and replace things such as how to have a good relationship. how to be a good person (Bible study) and how to look after children and finances. how to deal with negative emotions etc etc.  people say that those things should be taught at home, not in school.  my answer is= school in most countries is mandatory...........good parenting isnt.   also usually children spend much more influential time at school than they do with their parents so school lessons really could help change the world.........with the help of God , ofcourse.

  • that story in the sun was sickening, what on earth goes wrong for such a young child to have those thoughts let alone act on them!
