I think you have to put yourself in the parents' shoes.They're not poking the baby so it'll cry and annoy you.Sometimes there's just nothing you can do.
Think I've been on a couple of long haul flights when I wanted to cry.
We have just returned from France, and Jack cried quite a bit on the way over (he was fine returning), he was so tired as we had to get up quite early to go, and although he slept in the car, we had to be at the airport 2 hours before our flight, so he got tired again.
Even though it may have been annoying for other passengers, he wasn't doing it on purpose.
A crying Baby for me is one of joy!, New Life making it be known, like a singing bird, our crying Babies are one of importance in all our lives, and lets face it, if you just had came into our world, would you not let everyone know, you are here and require attention?
