I followed all the instructions given by doctors and health visitors etc - stopped smoking a couple of years before getting pregnant, was really careful with alcohol and certain foods, kept fit, breast fed for 6 months etc, and my son still got cancer aged 5. (He's now 25 and very well thank goodness!)
Unfortunatley cancer affects one in three of us directly and although I agree we should all take care of our health,some illnesses are down to fate - I believe this is true of most cancers.
