Cooking fresh food for your baby is easy and cheap (and if you wait until 6 months as recommended your baby can have most of the food you eat - if it's healthy). Breast feeding is very cheap too (just a bit of extra food for Mum). Both of these things are also better for baby than processed baby food and formula. I wonder what the impact of these price increases will be on the rates of breast feeding and home cooking for baby.
