There is no mention is not feeding them but providing opportunity to feed. i.e. Baby led weaning.
If this approach is taken none of the above applies as you just go with the flow and once they are able to sit on their own adn show other abilities you open up the opportunities. Simple as. No worrying about having time in the day or if they don't like it. If they don;t want it leave it abd carry on with your own dinner.
