I dont think this is strictly true, we all know that dramas on tv and films etc are fictional unless you are watching the fabulous series that is OBEM then yes it is all true! We all know things are touched up and air brushed in pictures and we know when we are watching - marley & me or friends or eastenders the actresses giveing birth arent really and they are made up - same way as when they wake up in the morning looking rather perfect.
Only thing that made me feel a bit of a failure was not giving birth totally naturally - I ended up with an epidural and ventous and not a very nice birth but the end result well more than worth all of it.
