Talkback: Gender: How should girls and boys behave?

Replies

  • I wouldn't worry about having older brothers or sisters. They may set the pace for the baby of the family but soon enough that little one is gonna have his/her own personality and activities and talent. It's good fun to see the little ones playing dress up, make believe and using their imagination. Nothing like a good wild creative imagination. Society - school, social outings, media - will soon enough show them what gender roles are. We can only guide them, encourage their development and provide the right attitude to being them.
