I'm definitely a fan of wooden toys, my parents still have many of the toys we had as children & wooden toys from their childhoods still. My children are aged between 7 months & 7 years & I've noticed the quality of the plastic toys have really deteriorated over a few years. Sadly nothing seems to be built to last now & any plastic toy brought in the last couple of years at great expense have broken! My children love to visit Grandma's house where all mine & my siblings Fisher Price toys & others are still going strong after 30+ years!
