Talkback: Birthday invites banned – unless whole class invited

  It's a daft policy and may make some parents feel they have to invite more children than they can afford to cater for. Inviting by phone, text or e-mail is fine if you know the other parents but sometimes you don't. I've always told my daughter that she shouldn't be upset if she doesn't get invited to another childs party as there is probably a good reason for it ie parents don't have enough money to invite too many children.

  I got told this 18 years ago at reception class. So hardly anything new that is one of the problems these days everyone complains about anything and starts a rumpus.
