We're lucky to have so much online now, so they can learn, and get more exercise at home. Even if parents are working, they can exercise, get sunshine (or at least fresh air!), and chat about the tasks while they exercise at lunchtime and in the evening. As you jog, or walk, you can discuss the work they've been doing. Even younger children can help around they home, and many friends have children with additional needs who still do some chores. Lots of children are learning lots they wouldn't in school. They wouldn't be socialising normally in school anyway, so socialising with their friends online will probably seem more normal. Plus there was an outbreak in France of 70 cases linked to schools reopening, and I'd feel so guilty if schools had to close completely (leaving nurses without childcare and unable to go into work) due to people who don't really need to send their kids in doing so. I know some parents have reasons they need to send them in, but atm it's just for vulnerable/kw in my area, which makes it safer for everyone.
