  • In reference to the second paragraph, when flying to some countries you will need to rent/buy a car seat locally because only car seats approved to local safety standards and with local safety standard stickers are legal to use. This includes Canada and the USA. The car seat can be used on the plane over but not in a car once you get there.
  • Also BA are not the only carrier wanting a forward facing car seat for an infant - Easyjet and Ryanair say the same thing. Would it be possible to update the article with any rear-facing car seats than can be installed forward-facing on an aircraft, if they exist? It's frustrating some airlines say infants must be in a car seat to have their own seat, then say they must be forward facing!
