I don't know, I really like the classic names. Jonathan, Richard, Jessica. Although I do quite like names after flowers, like Daisy and Lilly :D

I do feel that a name we choose for our children does effect their personality and development in some way and as long as it is a beautiful name such as those already mentioned i am sure the personal choice is the best one.

I have a Lily and Mia- Mimi is what we affectionately call her. Pregnant with 3rd baby I love Amelie. For boys OH and I have talked about Brody, Sevvy and Theo. I don't love any of them but then I've never had to consider boys names as I knew I was having a girl both previous times!

I found girls names far easier than boys names so when we found out we were having a boy the hunt continued. A lot of our friends & family had used or were named a lot of the classic boys names that we liked (I think there must be less boys names then girls). Always, as a teacher, there are a lot of great boys names I didn't want to use due to bad memories of certain pupils! My hubby found a few unusual names he liked online & we ended up using the name Rafferty which I love. It's unusual but at least everyone always spells it correctly.

I can't imagine him being called anything else now!
