Exercise after c-section

My LO is now 11 weeks old and I'm keen to start running again. I had an emergency c-sec and the area is still numb. How long did you leave it before starting to run/ do exercise after giving birth/ having c-secs? One of my friends told me I shouldn't even consider running til LO is 6 months as my insides will still be jiggling around?!!

    I worked for many years as a personal trainer - the general recommendation is a minimum of 6 weeks rest - however as it was an emergency check with your midwife/health visitor - they will know you personally better than anyone and should be able to give you some guidance. Most gyms will not let you exercise post baby until you are signed off by your midwife team and deemed fit...
