at 12 weeks, how sad. We talked about a termination with DD and even at 5/6 weeks i couldnt bring myself to do it. I dont know her reasons behind it but to see her baby and not have that emotional tug, well, i just dont understand.

I hate it when people use abortion as a form of contraception, I really think it should be vetted more people have to face their responsibilites.
I do acknowledge though that contraception does fail but from what the op has said about the womans attitude it doesn't seem like that was the case, and to leave the decision that late! Beggars belief.
