I don't know whether any of you have heard of this site:

They allow you to book a stall at an indoor market in your area and sell any 2nd hand maternity/baby/toddler things you might have. Although they don't have the range and selection of an NCT sale they are also much more gentle (no fist fights over the last Bumbo etc). I've got a stall at the Maidenhead one on 9th June seeing as my baby days are over but there are loads of sales all over the country. I got a lovely wooden dolls house for £10 at the last one I went to.
