A (not) Christening party?

I've been thinking ahead to when our baby is born and would like to mark it with some kind of celebration. Our baby isn't being christened and I don't have that many female friends for a baby shower to be arranged for me - I wondered what you would do with regards to marking the occasion? The baby is due 10 August so hopefully, we will catch the back end of the summer.

  • have you heard of a naming ceremony??  it's kind of like a christening but without the religous bit. it's basically where you "introduce your baby" to family and friends and celebrate their birth but without the church etc, sounds perfect for what you're looking for hunni. try googling "naming ceremony" they're just as popular as christenings are now image hope this helps xxxxxx

  • Just get a few friends over and have a big ol barbeque!!
