Babies nails

I know this may sound silly but I've had my first child who is now 9 months, & I've been cutting her hand & toe nails sort of round? Instead of straight across? which I've been told is fine with her hands but not her feet as it can cause ingrown toe nails /: is it too late for me to try & train them to be cut straight across as I've been doing it curved for 9 months or can I fix it before it does end up ingrown?
