Bleeding a 5 weeks

Hi well I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my first, but II am having bleeding like on my period, I went to the doctor and he said I'm threatens a miscarriage, I'm really worried as I'm having really bad abdominal pains and really bad backache is there still a chance my baby's OK??

Some women have periods as normal throughout pregnancy so there is a chance...if the pain worsens or has you doubling over then go straight to hospital

im about 5 weeks pregnancy and after sexual activity last night I had a bit bleeding not loads but enough to worry, it was bright red but was only on sheets when i checked I was not bleeding still? But I have slight achy abdominal pains? Any suggestions?
