  • There was a one to one drop in at my hospital in the birthing unit as well which was amazing because the midwife was there and made me a cup of tea when I burst into tears lol. Ring the maternity unit see i bet you would be able to book with the onsite bf specialist. I went to a bosom buddies group as well and it was full of older babies too I really needed advice and the 'trained' helper wasn't very helpful because she was more interested in bf her 15 month daughter the whole time so it was a waste of time really, makes me sound horrible but I was getting really frustrated because she girl kept climbing in his car seat and pulling stuff out of everyones buggies lol!

Aww I don't really know what to suggest :( I just know bf is really hard in the beginning with the cluster feeding and on top of that the crying must be really hard so keep your chin up it will get better Oliver stopped cluster feeding a few weeks ago and its so much easier now i literally just feed him every few hours and he's so happy so it will be worth it in the end.. keep staying positive I used to take Oliver out in the car and drive him round the block when he was unsettled or get my OH to take us all on a longish drive after work it just gave me 20 minutes to have a break and close my eyes for a bit xx

  • Zoie's Perhaps use a syringe withe the drops in and a bit of expressed milk!

we had to syringe feed in the early weeks of breast feeding, we used to let him suck on our little finger (it's like a nipple) and then put the syringe in at the side and he took it really well!

  • Oh look at her www chubby cheeks she beauitful x

  • Like her moms ha x

  • Ah love her hair!  Oliver has started to lose his now 😢

  • I have finally started using the miracle blanket.  I still can't get on with tucking the little flaps around the arms as Oliver won't let me do that, but just wrapping them over and then around works well. He does manage to still get his arms and one leg out overnight, but he can escape from both the Velcro and zip up ones too so he is a pro escape artist!  Here is a pic of him in the blanket!

  • Rustic he looks well comfy! Neither of mine have liked their arms covered up and Nellie now has her fist in her mouth all the time at the min ha.

Another 2.5 off at fat club! I'm determined to wear a pretty dress at Xmas even if it's in the house ha ha

  • Thank you so much for posting that pic Rustic07, he looks snug as a bug!

Hi everyone, today we're talking about breaking the big news of your pregnancy. How did you tell people you were pregnant, and how many weeks pregnant were you? Please do pop over to this other thread here and let us know!

  • Oliver is the same, I have wait till he is asleep to zip his hands into his sleeping bag or wrestle them into the mirscke blanket when half asleep.   He wakes and tries to get his fist in his mouth and then gets very annoyed when he can't, but he sleeps really at night in the bag of blanket as without it he started himself awake every hour!

well done on the weight loss k85m!  I need to do something but in holiday next week so will worry about it when I come back!

  • Thank u! im pleased but still early days. Oh yeah have a good holiday first ha. I was pregnant for mine and my best mates birthday so we said wud go away for the weekend and since been talking about making the most of it and booking 3/4 days in spain next year benidorm maybe so that's my goal cuz she's skinny ha
