  • Aww smilie Emilio😍

How often do you ladies change your little ones at night only asking because we seem to settle Charlie then when he's fed and changed it wakes him up and he's wide awake and won't settle back

  • We change Joseph in between his feed if needed. Wakes him up to take all his bottle.

  • I change Saoirse before her last bottle and not again until morning. I don't do it during a night feed as long as it's not dirty.

  • Thanks ladies we will try that going forward from tonight hes fine until you change his bottle then he's wide awake and screaming and it takes hours to settle him back off I read if you put vaseline on their bottoms it forms a waterproof layer preventing nappy rash I obv use nappy rash cream as well just wondering if it would work

  • Overnight is fine just use your cream aa normal

  • Yes Vaseline is good  Mummytoolley. I used that and Sudocrem when Charlie had nappy rash after his jabs.

Thst is fantastic Lillian! charlie is such a terrible sleeper and he is exactly the same age as Ollie. I literally had no sleep last night. Am so tired as been a busy day getting five children's things ready to go back to school tomorrow! Think he may be having growth spurt as had fed constantly for about 2 days.

  • imageCharlie is a little chunk ❤

  • Aww bless him he looks so cute he's filling his car seat isn't he. My Charlie is the same he's going massive as well won't be long before he's out of his carry cot and in his pushchair

  • I really love seeing all the pictures of your lovely babies xxxx

  • Yes same here mummytoolley. Charlie's not got much room left in his pram. Am going to be so sad when I have to change it to pushchair as I love them in the pram.

  • Time is just flying by :-(

  • Everyone is still awake here it's a mad house olly is having really poor sleep atm he keeps waking up screaming all the time and it takes ages to settle him off again. Charlie is refusing to go down tonight hes got into bad habits of wanting to be held and sleep on my oh chest I cnt sleep with him on me I'm a really heavy sleeper and I don't trust myself not to drop him during the night if I went to sleep heavy

  • They are real monkeys aren't they and they really know how to get their own way. Hope olly settles soon for you . Am just giving Charlie a feed and hoping that I can put him in his crib for a while but am not feeling too hopeful.

  • How did u get on chick did Charlie settle for my eventually the madness died down here about one

  • He has been up and down all night mummytoolley. Had about 4 feeds since 1am. He is getting worse at sleeping not better. He's up now feeding again and I'm wondering how on earth im going to get the other 5 ready for school.

Hope you all have a lovely day xx

  • Oh no Louise you must be shattered. Were your other bf babies like this. I don't really know enough to offer advice. Do you express at all? Just wondered if you could maybe get some help off your oh come the weekend.

I always try not to seem like I'm bragging but Saoirse has gone back to ditching the 5am feed. I had textbook kids last night however with my period starting I was up and down peeing, temp was up and down and just couldn't settle and kept having weird dreams. Sods law.

Patrick's skin is a mess from this virus. It has huge dry patches and his poor bum cheeks was bleeding last night and trying to get cream on him is like trying to put a fish in a dress.

Was going to attempt to take them both to bookbug but his hands are a bit spotty and I don't want to scare other parents

  • aww katt that is Sod's law bless you

when we went to wheelgate I spotted a few children with spots all over them they looked like chicken pox with scabs on them but I did think I'm not sure I would take Ollie if he looked like that just for the comfort of others but maybe my view would change in time hehe

    Ollie plalying bless him

  • Bless him bbe that sounds painful olly was the same he had a viral infection last Christmas and afterwards his bottom looked like chopped liver it took ages to clear up I started using metanium and it worked. What's bookbug chick?

Louise I hope you manage to grab a hour once everything is done and the kids are at school

  • It's a 30 min class the library do. It's free and it's songs they sing. I forget I'm the only one in Scotland but they do it throughout all the councils. It's great and it's just the right length and no pressure to socialise.

For a week he's only been out in the buggy. I've not had him and the park or anything. I wouldn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable or have someone challenge me. I know all kids get stuff but didn't want to become the topic of a netmums which hunt lol.

Hoping it's ok on sat and I'll take him to soft play to get some energy out before he destroys my house.
