Gripe water

Hey so I gave my month old baby some gripe water and she puked everywhere for the first time? Gave it to her another time and she was fine, then the third time she was sick again... like proper sick. Also it seems to help with the burping and pain but sometimes when she wakes up she screams and I feel like it has made her worse. I stopped giving it to her for a couple of days and she seems fine but sometimes she seems uncomfortable and unsettled but I'm just to scared to give it to her again
