  • We are in a and e I've noticed Ollie has been out of breath recently but it got worse today so called 111 and they sent us here ... I think he's ok just with his history I don't want it to progress

  • Oh god Lillian let us know how you get on sending you love xxxxx

  • Yeah they just said he's probs coming down with something  ans to keeep an eye on him which is reassuring z

  • Have they allowed him to go home then chick? Hope he feels better soon, there's alot of bugs going around atm.

  • Oh no, hope the wee man is ok. I don't ever remember Patrick being this unwell as a baby but we cannot get a break here.

Louise I've still not got the highchair out the box. What did you end up not liking?

We were in marks yesterday with my mum and Patrick knocked his stickers off the table to I lent over to pick them up and I toppled the chair. I'm in agony today. I've really really hurt my back.

I took the kids out all yesterday morning and wasn't back until 130...by 330 oh was asking to go to the pub. Said he'd be back at 630 for baths...didnt come back to 730 by which time Patrick was overtired. I almost just punched him square in the face!

Up with both kids but he's getting 45 min and I'm going back to bed.

I have my xmas lunch and cocktails with the ladies I met through the mush app. Has anyone else used it.

  • Sounds horrific Katt, have you tried some of those heat pads for your back there dirt cheap and do hurt, ibroufen gel might also help with the discomfort. I don't blame you for wanting to punch him I sometimes have the urge to bash my oh especially when he either under mines or thinks I exaggerate about being stressed apparently he works five days a week so I shouldn't moan about working five nights 😠

I used mush a few times but I don't really go on it alot I'm glad it helped you socialise tho chick. I do love our little forum tho you girls are amazing xxxx

  • Lillian I'm so glad he's ok. Hope he doesn't come down with anything too serious. You must have been petrified.

Katt hope you're feeling better soon. Enjoy your meal. Really pleased you found some good friends. I looked at mush but I always get a bit nervous. I found the highchair hard to put together and the tray hard to get on so I worried I   Would trap his fingers. It's a bit bulky too when folded. The seat looked comfy though.

Taking all the children to see Santa today .

  • Aww that's nice Louise ! have so much fun x

we gave Ollie the heinze porridge this morning and it was a million times better than the cow and gate one ... I did read they can have normal porridge  this age but think I'll try ready Brek Next month.  He's ok just sleepy and keeps breathing fast but I think he's doing ok x

  • Did Charlie enjoy seeing santa chick? Were taking the boys next Saturday cnt wait. Did you find another high chair.

    Lillian I'm glad ollies okay

Charlies just eating a blended Sunday dinner the little piggy

  • He slept most of the time while we were on the boat ride but woke up at the end for a photo.  No haven't found another highchair yet. Think I'll wait till sale after Christmas now.

Think I will try the Heinz porridge Lillian if it seems better.

Hope charlie enjoyed his Sunday dinner xx

  • What gorgeous little boy Lillian. Daniels fast asleep upstairs think that will be him down for the night probablem with going down so early is don't know what to do with myself

  • Aww what a lovely picture Lillian cnt believe how thick his hair is wish charlies would hurry up and grow 😂😂. That heinz porridge is brilliant Charlies always used it my oh went shopping earlier and got the aptimal one by mistake so we will see how he gets on with it.

Charlie sounds like you cn pop your feet up and relax chick :)

I'm ready for another shift thank god it's my last one cnt wait to be off Im no where near ready for Xmas yet my room is like alladins cave with unwrapped presents

  • I woke up this morning to Daniel laying like thisimage do u think I should move him to his big bed there has been times that hands where through but no legs

  • Omg that's so funny bless him I have a breathable cot bumper it's a mesh one that fastens with velcrow I know they say u should use any but I tried it n it's very breathable nothing can fall off to chock on either x

  • Haha the wee cheeky monkey. Was he still sleeping or did that wake him. Once he starts moving about in his bed it might be time for a move. I moved patrick once he started rolling over in his sleep. I'm not moving Saoirse to her own room (we don't have a third room) so I'm going to be putting her in the travel cot. It has mesh sides so she can't get stuck.

Im so pissed off. I'd ordered a unicorn dressing gown off next for my husband's wee cousin who was our flower girl. She loves unicorns and her mum said she's so excited to 'become a unicorn'. Well next emailed today to say it's not in store even though it should have been delivered today and now they can't tell me when the delivery will arrive. I can't find anything similar only dressing gowns with unicorns in them. I thought my xmas shopping was over :-(

  • He was awake but don't know when he moved to that position. Think I'm going to have to move him

  • He does look as if he's filling that crib up a bit lol bless him :) did you manage to relax and put your feet up last night.

Thats crap Katt have you looked in debenhams I know that they have alot of unicorn stuff in I brought my best friend a unicorn hooded blanket for her birthday the otherweek and they have a sale on too atm.

I'm so tired had a hours sleep now on the way to meet wedding coordinator could do without this

  • I also have the breathable bumpers. They're not as thick and you can breathe through them. I got them as he kept bumping his had, as like Daniel, he goes completely horizontal in the cot in the night.

im having such a dilemma with weaning.. whether to do baby led or purée/mash things and then spoon. What have you ladies done? Or thinking of doing?

  • Dizzyd I have done a bit of both when I can he's not putting much himself to his mouth but he love his banana just in chunks he started of with that as mush and he's have carrots Brussels and mash just fork mashed and toast in thin slices. When he tries meat it will be purred unless he gets teeth
