Freddie has had a cold for the last 2 weeks, he can’t lay down because he’s struggling to breathe with all the mucus, starting to struggle with the lack of sleep because we have to be holding him constantl. Any tips?! we’ve been giving him saline nasel spray and tried going in a steamy room.
On top of that he is still struggling to poop so he keep getting upset with a tummy ache😩
Sorry to hear Freddie is poorly Hannah. Haven't got any tips but I'm the same boat, have realised reason Hector not sleeping in his cot is because he has a snotty nose and can breathe easier when slightly up right.
hannah, when the babies have colds, it is just the worst. Vicks have just done a new baby vapo rub you might like to try - some people swear by smothering kids feet in at bed time. You can also get nose suxkers, for sucking out the snot. Yup, as gross as it sounds!

All good here! Booked a doctors appointment Monday just gone for Ariella’s cold/mucus and gunky eyes. Well of course on Monday she woke up and was absolutely fine and has been since 🙈
Had a photoshoot for her on Friday! She was such a good girl and loved it, but stayed awake the whooole time so didn’t get any of the cute sleeping newborn photos lol. Attached a couple of my favourites! Turned her into a mermaid as she’s named after Disney’s Ariel ☺️
I went back to work at the weekend! I have my own business doing princess parties, I’ve not been a character since September and I’ve missed it SO much! She wasn’t keen when I was Elsa (just cried when I held her 😂) but we managed to get some lovely photos when I was Anna, so pleased her tiny Anna outfit fit! ❤️
Thanks ellabelle he's 10 pound now I'm just going to ignore her, I do all the time anyway lol

Odin has had his test results back all clear for bacteria and infection so that's good, but the blood is still happening we are back at the Dr tomorrow, it's horrible he's in pain and it's in every nappy, some it's like clots, don't know what to do very worried.

We have an appointment with a pediatric up at the hospital on Tuesday about the blood...it has been happening less since I changed his milk back..when we first got him home for ease we were useing the pre made ready to use cow and gate milk as that's what he was on In the hospital, we swapped to powdered cow and gate the one you make up your self, exactly the same one as the pre made one...after racking our brains about what the blood could be about we have changed back to ready made as it's the only change we made and the blood is less but still happening...I'm wondering if it's the milk all together? Maybe he's Lactose intolerant? Been advised to wait to see specialist before making any more changes as could make it worse, very worried hes in pain and there's nothing I can do to help him...I'm feeling a bit pointless, I'm his mum I'm supposed to make it better but I don't know how xx

My baby boy just had his first bottle of expressed breast milk, in preparation for me going out for my sister's 21st birthday this weekend. He wasn't even slightly bothered that it wasn't me he was getting the milk from 😭😭😭 feeling a bit rejected now 😢😢😢
Awwww thuper, it's good that he won't go hungry while you are out though dont feel rejected he probably wasn't bothered as you were still giving him it so it was like no different to him? Xx
Went to the hospital today and she thinks Cows milk protein intolerant is what's wrong with him not Lactose intolerant...the good news is the milk is free on prescription the bad news is he really isn't a fan of it at all and isn't taking it...he's crying because hes hungry but takes one sip of the milk and spits the bottle out, feel terrible that iv taken his other milk away but have no choice, just have to keep trying it because he can't have anything else xx

We are just on the way home after a lovely weekend at my mums. Went out yesterday for my sister's 21st birthday. Was away from Hector for 5 hours. Felt quite upset to leave him but had fun while out, and had my first alcoholic drink in 10 months!
Sleeping is improving, he's doing about 11pm-4am, having a feed then back down for about another 3 hours.
Health visitor tomorrow (7 weeks) so hopefully he will have gained well when she weighs him.
Hes so much better now the day after starting the new milk the blood stopped so I'm very happy with the results I wouldn't have minded paying for the milk anything to make him better but am I glad it's on prescription! It's £15 a pot to buy and he goes through 1 pot every 2 days he's currently drinking 7-8 ounces every 4 hours ish and sleeping 12-6 then waking up for change and feed then back to sleep or 12-8 sometimes if im lucky think it depends how much he's been awake in the day.
Glad you had a good time while you were out thuper and home he's put on some fluff to be weighed tomorrow we are going to take odin to be weighed on Friday be interested to know what he's put on over 2 weeks last time he was just over 10 pound...iv noticed him getting bigger he's quickly filling out his 0-3 clothes... things that swamped him 2-3 weeks ago are suddenly getting snug lol xx

Rebecca, what a worry the bleeding is still happening, But at least you can take some reassurance from the fact he's still gaining weight ok.
We are doing alright, Hector is still snotty but now I've accepted he's sleeping on me for the time being we are getting a decent amount of sleep.
