Having a baby then no friends

this is a strange one but I just want to know if it has happened to anyone else? When I told my friends Im pregnant and keeping my child, from there it was like the friendship ended; not on my part but on their part.

I haven’t seen my friends in over a year and they don’t even make the effort to contact me to see how me or my child is doing. worst of all they haven’t even seen my child or asked to even when I have tried to make the effort, but now I have stopped trying because it was not worth it.

has this happened to anyone else?! Because if my friend had a child I think we would be as close as ever having a baby is such a beautiful thing
