Morning ladies!!! How are we all? How is motherhood treating you all?

Hows everyone’s nighttime with little ones?

Edith is 16 days old today! We had health visitor yesterday and she is 8.5lb! She has gained a whole lb since she was born... awww our little chunk 🙈 HV seemed more than happy with her though so that’s all I care about... said she was in the 25th centile for height but unfortunately I’m not gifted with height - in 5ft 1!!! But my partner is 6ft I was hoping she would take after him!! I guess not 🙈

live seeing all these little babies!!!

    💕🌸💕

  • Hi everyone, how are you all doing? Are you getting some rest? And how are you coping with the visitors?

  • Baby Stanley was born at 6am on Monday morning weighing 7lb13oz.

How do you love someone so much and not just cry every time you look at them?!!!

  • HB14 confrats on your baby boy! I still find myself staring in awe. They're so perfect aren't they!

Eve was 3 weeks on Monday - and that's her slept through the night the last 2 nights! She was a little sicky last night so up until 1:30 but slept until 9 so that counts as all night to me!

  • imagemy baby boy Ronnie is 1 month old today weighing a huge 9lb12oz.

I have started breast feeding asnof last night only done 2 feeds still using formula trying to build up milk first. Started late due to having to wean off some medication first. I hope I can do it :) hope your all getting on ok. Best wishes xx

  • Hi all...

Feeling rather knackered as my little man is waking every 90 minutes or so and simply won't settle at night. Running me ragged. He is very placid during the day but he was always active inside me at night, so I wonder if he is just in his own routine.

We have had a difficult time due to a long stay in hospital, treatment for jaundice, lots of tests etc. My little man was premature so he is 11 days now but still technically -2 weeks as I'd only have been 38 weeks today. He cannot latch on for more than a minute or so - the midwives said that is because his sucking skills etc have not quite developed yet - so we are doing a combination of formula and expressing.

  • Hi everyone, how are you getting on? Is anyone getting rest?
We'd love to hear from Mamabear17, MrsT1990 and Ttcfirsttime - we hope you are all well and baby is on the way soon, if they're not already here.

I just got this sent to me tonight 😍😍😍

  • Aw Michelle she's stunning! How is she getting in?

Did you have trouble choosing? We ended up buying the whole gallery 😂 I'll add a couple of Eve's below.

This is the first day I've really been on my own with her in over a week. My labrynthitis is cleared a little to the point I wont fall over when I'm holding her - thank God!

  • Mrsb I havnt got them all back yet I’m to excited to get them back not sure how I’m going to chooses though lol

move been on my own now for 5 weeks and find it a breeze most mornings think routine is key lol. Laelynn just don’t stop being hungry every 2/3 hours just now she’s tsking 6/7oz 🙈 xx

    hows eve doing xxx

  • Michelle we were ourselves for a bit but then I got sick - I looked like a drunk swaying all over the place on the way to the doctor's. Theyve said it could be another fortnight but that it shouldn't be nearly as bad. She's getting good at a sleep routine and once I'm allowed to drive we should be back on a roll :). Eve's only 4 and a half weeks but she seems to be going through a growth spurt. She was taking 4oz every 4 hours but we had to up her to 5oz - I'm going to have to give in to an extra bottle soon as she's freaking out a bit just now chewing her wee hands!

I hope you get your pics back soon. I think our photos did come back ridiculously quickly. We totted up what we would be spending to get prints for everyone we needed them for and decided we werent much more just to buy them all on the memory stick - the shoots aren't cheap but so worth it aren't they 😍!

  • Hi everyone

I gave birth in the 3rd of September and my baby initially failed the newborn hearing test then failed again a week later. I was then sent up to at Thomas where they did a more thorough test and it came out that she may have mild hearing loss. shes got more tests this Tuesday on the 9th October to test the three other pitches. If these come out the same then she will be referred to a specialist for hearing aids. She has said to hesr normal sounds but unable to hear softer sounds like whispers and if you were to call her in a noisy environment or for another room. During the last test she had a congested nose and a cold which still hasn’t cleared up and only a few days left till the next tests. surely this has an impact on the accuracy of the tests ? She also had fluid in her ears In the first test what’s to say she still doesn’t have fluid? Also she was born ten days early.  How accurate are these tests ? Even without the mentioned factors can we trust these tests? I’m so confused do not want to believe my baby might have mild hearing loss. She seems to react to me whispering her name and footsteps. Please if any of you mammas have had a similar experience please share or if anyone has any information please share

    many thanks !

  • SGD your little girl was born the same day as mine!

I don't really think I'll be much help as Eve passed the hearing test first time but if she's still congested I'd imagine it could have an impact - a bit like our ears can be a bit muffly when we have a cold? Maybe give them a call and see if they would want to reschedule for when she's better. It's an awful feeling thinking something might be wrong - at a day old we were told she might have bone growth across her wee nostril and it worried me so much!

I do have a friend whose baby sister had severe hearing loss as a baby for some reason but her hearing was back to normal by the time she started school. I do t know if that's a common occurenocc or just a small chance but worth bearing in mind even if she does fail her hearing test again. I have my fingers crossed that it all goes well for you though 🤞!

  • Hi All

Little Darcy is now 3 weeks old and after a tough few weeks with jaundice and nearly being re-admitted I think we’ve now flushed it out!

She was born 7lb 11oz and last Monday she was up to 8lb 10oz 🐷 loves her milk!

Sleeping is going well, she is now waking for feeds after us Having to set alarms every three hours for feeds too!....but last night she went from 23:30-5:30!! I feel like a new woman!

Biggest challenge for us is definitely breastfeeding!! It’s such a skill! I didn’t realise it wasn’t just a imageimagecase of plonking them on the boob! I got sooo sore in the first week, but being stubborn, refused to give up, have been using nipple shields to allow me to carry on and now attending support sessions to try and wean us off them.

We also had our first smile this week! Melts my heart! #teampink 💗

  • Hey ladies, all these babies are soooo cute! My baby boy Max is now 16 days old. We have settled into family life amazingly and totally nailed breastfeeding. The first few days were hard as nipples were bleeding and agony but we pushed through and I'm now loving it. He was born on Thursday 20th September in the pool and we were home the same day. Been out and about every day since whether it's for walks or lunch with the hubby before he goes back to work on Monday. Max was 8lbs 4.5 at birth and dropped to 7lbs 11 but is now back up to 8lbs 8 and feeding every 2-3 hours...he loves the boob! Hope you're all doing well. Here's some photos of my little lad...xxximage

  • Hey ladies the other thread has been stopped now. All your photo's are so cute. My little girl is now 6 weeks, time is flying already. How is everyone? My period has arrived exactly 6 weeks later.

How's everyone's little one's sleep at night? My daughter likes to actually go to bed after she's had her 2am feed. I've got a mosses basket downstairs and a snuggle cot bed at the side of my bed. After 2am feed she'll sleep for about 4 hours and that's the longest she sleep day and night. Throughout the day she sleeps about 2 hours then feeds.

Also how do yours feed, ounces and times? X

  • Awe these photos 😍

Emmaloulou Eve has been quite a good sleeper except the first night in hospital from her breathing issue. Generally we put her down at 8 in the lounge and she will sleel until maybe half 10. We don't put her down in our room until midnight and she will sleep until half 6. I don't know if it's cause she's a bigger baby? She feeds every 4 hours outside of that - she's bottle fed and we've had to start giving her 5oz at a time, although she doesn't always finish it. Her bedtime bottle is 6oz so she's down that bit longer. She's 5 weeks and worried she's taking too much! How much do you give your little lady?

PS we gave the pink stripe blanket she's lying on for the pram and Eve passes out as soon as it touches her 😂

Smiles for mummy this morning 💗

  • Aww. My daughter has cow & gate. She's been having 3 to 4 oz every 2 to 3 hours for the past few weeks but the recently she's started having 5. Health visitor says her weight is good and putting it on right.

It's just when she's fed i can't lay her down until about 20/30 mins after otherwise she brings it back up. I have got her crib raised x

Love these ladies... it’s currently 5.48 and I am up doing a feed 😴

Cienna is now 4 weeks and 4 days old and is a combination of breast and bottle.

she is drinking roughly 3/4 oz every 3/4 hours... sometimes during the day she will snack like every 1.5 hour which is fine I don’t mind just putting her on the boob at home.

anyone else dtd yet? 🤭 we were 3 weeks pp and it was fine 😂 how’s everyone feeling in themselves? I must admit I feel great and really starting to find some sort of routine which involves some sleep 😂 School runs are still the hardest especially if little I’ve doesnt wake for her feed when she is supposed to.

How quick is time going though guys 😱 before we know it we will have 1 year olds x
