Travelling with baby abroad - what are your must have products?

Hi everyone! Just booked my first family holiday abroad, to Cyprus. My son will be 9 months old when we go. I'm wondering what are everyone's must have products to take when travelling. Also should I be taking a car seat? We will only be on the transfer between hotel and airport so not sure.
