Unilateral renal hypoplasia- smaller right kidney for baby

Hi all, looking for some advice or parents that have been through this. My little 8 week old boy has been told his right kidney is smaller than his left. They need to monitor to ensure it doesn't further decrease but keeps growing and want to do a few procedures ie putting a tube up it's willy through to kidney and take pictures to see if there are any blockages or reflux from urine. They also want to do a kidney functionality test in 3 months which will involve a radioactive isotope being inserted into baby. Has anyone been through this and what was the outcome? How did your little ones cope with the procedures?

Thanks in advance.
