Ears under water?

Does anyone know if it is wrong to have a baby's ears under the water when giving a bath? What damage could you cause, if any, if you had done that from birth pretty much every day for 4 months?

hi..thanks for the reply wenders. You know what its like, someone says something and you start thinking oh my god. Puts you in a bit of a panic!
