Car seat - the newborn bit

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone could tell me how long it is recommended that you have this in? My son is 10 weeks on Monday and was such a big boy born (11ib 9oz) and last week was weighing in at 14 ib 14oz but is looking so squashed and uncomfortable as you can imagine.

My OH has misplaced the instructions - so thought id mention it to you ladies. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it's around 9 months or 20lb+. My LO was massive early on so I also thought he would outgrow it, but his weight gain slowed down and it wasn't a problem. Stupid question, but if it's a maxi cosi did you know you can take out the wedge, and also adjust the straps to make it bigger? x

The head support is supposed to basically stay in until baby has good head control. James is 21 weeks now, and I think we took his out at about 14 weeks - somewhere around there. He is happier without it, definitely!
