My 10 month old has decided to change his routine!

My ds has been poorly for the last 3 weeks with a mix of colds and then diarrhoea. Since he has been better so the last 4 days he has decided he wont have a morning sleep. In fact i think he doesn't want to go to bed at all. Usually he loves sleep and sleeps for about 2 hours in the morning and about 1.5-2hrs in the afternoon. But now he gets tired but wont sleep and i have no idea what to do with him as he gets sooo grumpy. He has also started standing and cruising so i wonder if it's also because he might think he's missing out on standing ime if he sleeps!

Has anyone had this please help! Not sure if to enforce sleep or not, but it;s horrible having a grumpy baby around and not knowing what to do, it's like having a newborn again, where i feel clueless!
