Ruby is now so confident at her walking (can go up and down small steps, up and down slopes etc..) that she wants to do it all the time and so gets quite frustrated when stuck in the pushchair in shops.
While I think she is a bit small to be let loose and doesn't really like to hold hands when she goes I do want to give her some freeedom and so am considering some reins.
She is 12 months and 3 weeks.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to what reins are good or bad and where should I get them?

I paid ??3 for them from a local baby shop, but someone onhere got some the same I think for ??1 from their local Children's Centre, so might be worth trying there! They do the job for the time being (my LO is 13 months) but as he gets a bit more 'independent' I think I'll get some of these:

They've been recommended to me on here, and I think he's a bit less likely to object to wearing them - have seen them in a local shop also, but amazon have quite a good range, they do a few different animals.
