i feel so ill!

Hi
I gave had a cold for a couple of weeks now which in itself I can deal with but it has now moved to my chest!
I am breastfeeding so I am aware that I can't take anything!
Does anyone have any suggestions for me I am feeling very sorry for myself

    Not sure if you can use it but maybe try a blob of vix vabour rub in your chest and also in boiling hot water and a towel over your head to breath the steam this helps with congestion.

    Im sure there must be something you could take have you spoken to your gp or hv they may be able to suggest something?

    hiya iv had it to and just used paracetamol. my midwife said not to use vix coz of baby being on chest even junior vix is 6 months+. if you really feel bad call ur gp soon coz things always seem to get worse at night and chemists dont like to advise if your feeding.
