Nappy rash

Does it hurt the baby? I mean could it make them be grumpy and cry? Lily is happy on min and then she will just change. I can only put it down to her sore bum! Hope no trick or treaters come to the door as she is naked from the belly down and they may get a bit of a shock as she has projectile wee!
