Eco-friendly nappies

Hi everyone. I'm trying to research which nappies to use when my baby comes along and was wondering if anyone had any tips? I try to be as environmentaly friendly as I can with most other household items, any tips on eco frindly nappies???

    my friend used boots nautrals i think they are called they are either recycled at least they are eco friendly which is why she bought them and she said they leak quite a bit but she only used them as a starter untill the meconium poo had stopped now she uses cloth nappies
