How do you cool food quickly??

Hiya all,
I have been making loads of food for Summer, and in the book it says to cool it quickly and put in the freezer. Just wondering what you all do to speed it up or do you just leave it on the side to cool first? Thats what I have been doing.

  • yeah thats what I do, put it in containers and just leave till cool or just left in ice cube trays when I was pureeing, then put in freezer
  • Hey hun,

    Too cool it quickly pop the saucepan or the containers into a big bowl or sink full of cold water, some ice cubes too, cools it down really quick the you can freeze it.
