My LO is 17 weeks on Monday....the past few days he is more interested in looking around than drinking his bottle; I've got a job to get him to finish it!

Could be. Try him on some babyrice or suchlike. If he doesn't seem intereseted, wait a cpl of days and try again! He mite take a few tries to get used to the idea of something a bit different thou.
