Weaning - question about weight

Was just wondering...........When you started weaning your lo, did it affect thier weight gain? If so, how?
I started weaning my lo at 17 weeks, she has put on 18oz in 16 days since then, which is normal for her so it hasn't affected it so far. That said, my lo is not following a centile curve, she was born on the 75th centile and is now just about to hit the 98th!!! She is breastfed and will take an occasional bottle of formula.
