Gripe water

Is there a lower age limit to when you can start using gripe water?

    They say don't give under 4 weeks.
    i used it after 4 weeks and it really helped my lo.

    gripe water (woodwards) can be used form 1month old, it used to be 3 months but they removed the alcohol from it hence the age restriction being lowered. hth xx

    Just wanted to add that we put it in LO's bottle as couldn;t get on with the syringe everytime. worked a treat. Gripewater is brilliant for wind, the burps are ear shattering! x

    Def get a syringe makes it so mcuh easier. My Lo wont take it in her milk as I think it changes the taste.

    yeh i second that, an oral syringe wld be the best option, problem with sticking it in therebbottle is it cld make it taste 'yuck' and there fore baby refuse feeds, or baby cld like the taste and therefore always want gripewater in the milk, plus u don't know how much lo will be taking as it will then depend on how much milk and hwo well its dispersed so won't be an accurate amount. xx
