child benefit? (also in BIJ)

well after waiting forever mine has finally been approved. i'm not impressed as i sent it off when LO was 9.5 weeks old and has only just been done now and can only be backdated up to march but at least i'm not having to fight to get it backdated i guess! anyways i was just wondering how long your first payment took to be put in your bank after you got the letter saying you were entitled? also what happens about the child trust fund? i was hoping to be able to ask HV as she still would've been doing home visits if it had been dealt with when i sent it originally but now i'd have to talk to the mean one i don't like so i'd rather not have to ask her if you lovely girls can help?
