sitting up

my lo is 8 months now and not sitting up yet everyone keeps sayin he will do it in his own time but i was reading a baby mag the other day and it said babies should be sitting by 6 - 7 months and that its a worrying sign if ther not sitting by 8 months is anyone eles lo this old and not sitting am i worrying to much or should i be worried? xxx $:\$ ?

Every child is different I wouldn't worry too much. Some children are slower at doing things than others. If you are concerned I would ask your HV but I am sure there is nothing wrong.

my friens lo wasnt sitting til 9mnth and she is fine now so dont worry!!
