an email I received
I don't know what's up with me today but I just opened this email from my grandfather abroad and it made me cry. It made me think about how hard a year 2008 has been and how thankful I am for all the people who have been there for me through it all. I just thought I'd pass it on to you ladies and say thank you.
There comes a point in your life when you realize
who matters,
who never did,
who won't anymore...
and who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past,
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
Give this heart to everyone you don't want to lose in 2009,
including me, if you care.

because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'
