Nightmare again!

Hi girls,
As you know we have been doing pick up put down with Connor and its been going so well until recently.
For the past few days hes been really crying come nap and bedtime which he hasnt done for a couple of weeks now, also last night he was awake every half hour from midnight.
We gave him rice for lunch and dinner on wednesday and he slept 8.30 til 8 with a feed at 2.30 which is brilliant, but for some reason he wont eat it the past couple of days.
Do you think hes too hungry to settle properly? He takes a good milk feed before bed and gets to the point where hes very nearly asleep but then starts screaming again but doesnt want more milk
Any advice would be much appreciated!
