Let down...

So when my milk 'let's down' I get suddenly parched and have to gulp down some water asap! it's really wierd and i've never heard of a let down like this... Does anyone esle experience anything so strong? I've felt like this with both my kids...

    im not sure how 2 tell when my milks let down but i do get thirsty alot n usually do have 2 av a drink with me whilst feeding,hanna n baby grace x

    I think its a reaction to prolactin, the hormone thats released when you bf.
    I guess some people would feel it stronger than others. xxxxx
