Question on re-heating bottles etc.

Hi all

I do what I know many of you do with Toby's bottles... I make them up with cooled boiled water and leave sealed, on the side, at room temp... when he wants a bottle I add the powder and re-heat in the bottle warmer.

BUT, I suddenly wondered yesterday whether I should be re-heating the water first, THEN adding the powder?!?!?! Have I got it really wrong!?!?!?!?

  • hi hun.. i make them in a similar way...
put 3/4 water in to cool at start of day...when needed i top up with boiling water and add milk...sounds like you're doing right thing to me hun!!
  • I do exactly the same hun but I do warm the water first then add the powder as the milk I use (aptamil) tends to mix much better if the water is warm rather than room temp!
