Aptamil Comfort Formula Advice

Hi mummy's 

My baby boy was recently diagnosed with Colic, I have been out and bought the products recommended to me by my GP & HV however none of them seem to have an effect (I know there is no cure for colic, i just want to try make my baby boy as comfortable as possible!) I'm really set on trying my baby on Aptamil Comfort Milk but I have been advised by the GP & HV not to change formula & just to either pursue with over the counter products or ride it out. It's heartbreaking for me to see my son in so much pain & discomfort though so I'm seriously considering just changing and trying it despite what they say. 

Do any of you mummies use or have used this formula before? Did it help your baby at all? 

Did you change to this milk on recommendation or of your own accord?
