Done my first week
started back at work on tuesday after a year on maternity leave, and it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be.
i'm working in a different dept on different hrs with men i don't know but it could be worse, my only problem i have to over come at the moment is i'm a scouser n my new boss has a really strong northern irish accent n at some point he's going to realise i just keep smiling because i don't understand a word he says.
i'm going on a course next week (non destructive metal testing) when i know what that is i will explain.

Would like to say the course sounds interesting but I would be lying lol!
I worked at the MOD once with loads of different accents around and I am hopeless with any accent so I used to smile alot too!
