  Thank you! yes my boss fudged it. He changed what he needed to change and took print-outs of what he'd done so it can be traced back.
  He was more annoyed about me not waiting for him to say do it even though he'd told me to do it that day but i think maybe he forgot he was going to be away!!
  I'm hoping to get to grips with the back ground of sage as its all very well pressing a button and letting it tidy up all the ledger accounts but i still don't really get it (if you see what i mean!) mind you i don't have to do it again for 12 months and i'll know what not to do next time!!
