Back at work but childcare costs and low apprentice wage = DEBT

Hello i am 18 a single mum and my LO is 8 months i have been back at work since she was just under 4 months. I am currently a apprentice and will be till december 2013 and earning ??3 per hour (rubbish wage) and even with the help i get threw working tax credit it i am still loosing money by working! I dont know whether to quit or stick it out and just deal with the debt when it gets serious? Is anyone else having this problem? What can i do??
