maternity entitlement
I have been in a job for a couple of months but I have been offered another job which is more suitable for my career development. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant but I am concerned that I will not be entitled to any maternity pay. I work for a local government body and have continued service from my last employer. Please help.

No you won't be as you won't have been there long enough but you will be able to get maternity allowance from job center which is either 136.70 a week or 90 percent of ur wages whichever is lower and this is paid every 2 or 4 weeks for 39 weeks. That's what I'm having to do as have been made redundant from both my part time jobs as of next week! X
