help with childcare

Hey I'm a single mum to a five year old boy who has just started school. I normally work three long days a week and he goes into before and after school club since i separated from his dad I have had au pairs live with us but I now feel it is stopping me from meeting someone else and i do not have the privacy i need in my own home. I need a different solution to my childcare. i also find the au pair agency quite demading and i dont have the time to support the au pair or any free time for myself. I also dont like the fact hes changing who is looking after him alot and who are basically strangers. Myself and my son grew greatly attached to previous au pair and nobody else is really good enough. i would prefer to have someone who did not live in who would be reliable and not too expensive. Im looking at around 20 hours a week. any suggestions?
